1About Sokii
Sokii is an app for creating your own story worlds and short video series with the help of AI. It is run by Dreamflux AI Private Limited, a company registered in India ("Sokii", "we", "us").
2Who can use Sokii
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law in your country requires it. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms for you.
3Your account
You sign in with Google. Keep access to your account secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using it. You are responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete your account at any time; see Delete your account.
4Your content
You own what you create. Your ideas, text, characters and the photos you upload stay yours, and so do the stories and videos Sokii makes for you, as far as the law allows.
To run Sokii, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process and display your content, and to send it to our service providers (including AI providers), only as needed to operate, improve and protect Sokii. If you choose to share or publish something, this licence also covers showing it to the people you share it with. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies others have already received from you or that we must keep by law.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload or put into Sokii.
5AI-made content
Sokii uses AI to write, draw, voice and animate. AI results can be wrong, unexpected, or similar to things other people have made. Review what Sokii makes before you share it. Don't present AI-made content as real footage of real events or real people.
6Community guidelines
Don't use Sokii to create, upload or share:
- Any sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualises anyone who appears to be under 18.
- Sexually explicit content or pornography.
- Content that uses a real person's face, name or voice to deceive, harass, sexualise or embarrass them, or without their permission where that permission is needed.
- Hate speech, or content that attacks people for their race, religion, caste, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits.
- Threats, harassment, bullying, or content that encourages violence, self-harm or terrorism.
- Content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy.
- Other people's personal information shared without their consent.
- Spam, scams, malware, or misleading content meant to trick people.
Also don't misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around Sokii's limits or safety systems, and no automated scraping.
7Other people's rights
Respect other people's work. Fan stories inspired by existing worlds are welcome for personal creative use, but you are responsible for how you use them, and the original rights holders keep their rights. If you believe something on Sokii infringes your rights, email [email protected] with the details and we'll review it and remove it where appropriate.
8Reporting and enforcement
You can report a problem from inside the app or by emailing [email protected]. We may review content to keep Sokii safe. If content or behaviour breaks these terms, we may remove it, limit features, or suspend or close the account. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why.
9Payments
Some features may cost money. Prices are shown before you pay. Purchases made through Google Play or the App Store follow their payment and refund rules. Unless the law or those stores say otherwise, payments are non-refundable.
10Sokii's rights
The Sokii app, website, name, logo and design belong to us. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Sokii as intended. We may change, add or remove features over time.
11Ending your use
You can stop using Sokii and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, or when we have to stop offering Sokii. If we stop offering Sokii entirely, we'll try to give you notice.
12Disclaimers and liability
Sokii is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running well, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that AI results will meet your expectations.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is higher. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
13Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue. If we can't, the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have where you live.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Sokii after that, you accept the new terms.
